Prof. Namdevrao Jadhav is a school teacher turned writer. Most of his books are based on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and through his writing he explores all the aspects of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He has written more than dozen of books. As a result, these books made him popular among Marathi readers.
Life before fame:
Namdevrao Jadhav was born in a village below Purandar fort. After completing his education, he got a job in a school with a salary of ten thousand rupees. While doing that job, he realized that we are the descendants of Jijabai, the mother of Shivaji Maharaj. Following this, he quit his job and started writing. Not having too much success, in the beginning, he also started lecturing.
Walk into the limelight:
Soon most of his books gained popularity and his lectures started gaining traction. Since then he has been an influential historian and a History Advisor for teleserial ‘Raja Shivchatrapati’ on the channel ‘STAR PRAVAH’ and History Advisor for Flim ‘Rajmata Jijau’. Prof. Namdevrao Jadhav has delivered more than 1000 speeches, and lectures across the Globe.
