Yajurvendra Mahajan founded the Deepstambh foundation. Yajurvendra Mahajan is actively working in the education sector. He was a teacher trainer. He is a well-known personality among students all over Maharashtra. Deepstambh foundation is created for these students to guide them for competitive exams.
Life before fame:
After witnessing the divide in the quality of education between the rich and the poor, Yajurvendra Mahajan founded DeepStambh Foundation. The DeepStambh Foundation aims to make good quality education accessible to rural, tribal, and economically weak students. He initially wanted to work with tribal and economically weak students, however, he had a change of heart when a differently able girl expressed her feeling of being a burden on her family.
Walk into the limelight:
Having delivered over 2500 lectures and programs across India to spread awareness about the importance of education, the foundation believes to connect with people to show them the importance of education. As a result, the foundation aims to open branches of the foundation all across India. Having achieved over 2.5 lakh subscribers on their YouTube channel, they have accumulated over 21 million views. This has been life-changing for the differently-abled students and an eye-opener to others.
