How to setup OBS Studio for using on Linux, Ubuntu ?

Prerequisite Article – “How to install OBS Studio on Ubuntu ?”

When you start the OBS Studio for first time, it will ask for auto configuration options for optimising the primary purpose of your Video recording. Our primary purpose was to record the Ubuntu screen hence we selected “Optimize just for recording” and click on “Next”

OBS Studio

On the next screen, you can select the best possible resolution if you want to change anything or keep it as default which is detected mostly based on the screen size of your laptop. Click on “Next”

On next screen, OBS studio will do some testing to check the encoder, resolutions etc to make sure everything is fine. Wait for the same to complete

Once testing is done, click on “Apply Settings”. You any ways would be able to change those settings later from menu options.
