Steps to Change the Default Search Engine in Chrome on Desktop
- Open Chrome: Start by opening your Google Chrome browser.
- Go to Settings: Click the three dots in the upper-right corner of the browser window and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Search Engine Section: Scroll down to the Search Engine section or click on Search Engine in the left sidebar.
- Select a Search Engine: Click the dropdown menu next to Search engine used in the address bar. Choose your preferred search engine from the list, such as Google, Bing, or DuckDuckGo.

Copy paste chrome://settings/ to your chrome browser to open the settings or you can also open the settings by clicking on 3 dots from top right corner of browser and then click on settings.
From settings, check in left sidebar and click on “Search Engine” and then click on “Manage Search Engines”
